Biometric attendance systems are fast, convenient, extremely accurate, and cannot be fooled with a borrowed card. Yet several myths persist.
Myth 1: The system stores fingerprint images. In reality, Fingera only stores templates (hashes) from which the original fingerprint cannot be reconstructed.
Myth 2: Implementing a biometric system means distrust toward employees. On the contrary, it increases mutual transparency — both sides gain an overview of worked hours and benefits.
Myth 3: A biometric system is expensive. Solutions are flexibly scalable — from a single terminal to cloud solutions with multiple terminals, or even just a mobile app.
Myth 4: You need to be an expert to use it. The interface requires no technical knowledge. When signing in, one finger is enough.
Myth 5: It only works in ideal conditions. Modern multispectral technology works reliably in various conditions and environments, resisting attempts at fraud with photos or artificial fingers.
